We have been back home a few days now and are still getting over the 9 hour jet lag. It is hard to believe that our wonderful, long awaited trip has come and gone already.
We just wanted to let you know it was the best experience of our lives and every part of our trip was perfectly planned out down to the last detail. John was waiting for us at the airport and whisked us to the Ole Sereni for the night. It had the game park in the back and we had the most amazing meal for dinner. Breakfast was on their open patio and it was a great beginning to our holiday. Thank you for the Souvenir Package that Japhet brought to us – it was very thoughtful and will be a lovely reminder of our trip. Japhet briefed us on what to expect and it was nice to finally meet him.
John was a wonderful driver/guide and such a gentleman. He was a wealth of knowledge and told us about all our surroundings and could name every bird, animal and plant. He clearly loves what he is doing and we would all sit in amazement as we watched the elephants walking or the interaction of the animals. He could spot an animal where we saw nothing and would not rest until even on the last evening, when we did not see much game all afternoon, he drove around and found a Black Rhino coming out of the bush. What a man! He drove us to the airport the following morning and stayed with us until the plane took off.
Elly was an excellent driver and we nicknamed him “eagle eyes” as he, too, could spot leopards and cheetahs in the grass or up in the tree a great distance away. We had so many sightings of these amazing cats that when we tell people how we saw ALL of the Big Five many times they are surprised. He would give us options for the timing of the game drives and arrange for picnic lunches when needed. It was a pleasure having him show us how the animals live and what to look for when trying to spot game. Still remember our first leopard sighting near the Serengeti Sopa Lodge, a real beauty.
Perhaps one of the highlights of the trip (there were many) was Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge – It was stunning! We were blown away by the setting overlooking the Rift Valley, the accommodations were probably the nicest we have ever seen and the food was excellent. Had we known we would have liked to have stayed an extra day to enjoy the beautiful pool and scenery. We were sad to have to leave right away in the morning without spending more time there.
We already have many friends asking who we used as an Agent to book our Safari and, of course, we will recommend you without reservation. Thank you for planning our trip – It was truly a trip of a lifetime which we will always remember.

I have been meaning to send this for some time. I was part of the group with Cat Simba Safaris in November. I just wanted to say how fantastic all of our drivers/guides were. They were so knowledgeable (whatever odd question was presented to them, and I did hear many), helpful, kind, funny and above all just a joy to be around. I particularly wanted to give a shout out to Little John, we pretty much stuck with him the whole time so I am a bit prejudiced on this. But every single member of your staff went above and beyond my expectations.
Thank you so much for helping to make my trip an adventure I will never forget!

a feedback regarding our trip.We saw wonderful places, the organisation was perfect, but, above all, we
had a skillful tour guide (John) who has also revealed to be a wonderful and
lovely person. Moreover, he helped us to understand fully African culture
and its people. Therefore, I was wondering whether you could further and
again thank him and say hi to him from all of us.In the future, it is our intention to come back in the center Africa for
this reason I would like to ask you a list of destinations tours that you

Thank you again for arranging a wonderful safari vacation for us – November 2018. The itinerary was excellent and all of the tented camps and lodges were excellent. As you know this was our fourth safari with Discover Kenya/Tanzania and was also in celebration of our 30th anniversary. It was wonderful and we really appreciated your efforts.
A special call out to Sifuni. He did an excellent job guiding/driving us during our 8 days in Tanzania and we could not have asked for a better guide.

We contacted Discover Safaris when they were recommended by a colleague. I told them places that I had heard about and we developed an itinerary that would maximize the different experiences for the the time of year we were traveling. I compared their itinerary with other very highly rated US companies and they were considerably less expensive. We had very high expectations for this vacation and it well exceeded all of them! Everyone was incredible. We went back and forth from Kenya to Tanzania twice, visiting 6 different parks without a hitch. The guides were amazing – warm, caring, and very very knowledgeable. In addition, the first leg of trip started with a flight cancellation that forced us to arrive a day late in Kenya, and Sadru and Ezekiel seamless shifted our entire trip by a day so we were able to do everything we had planned on this vacation of a lifetime. It could not have been a better experience and I can’t thank Discover Safaris enough for making this amazing trip so easy.

I was referred to Sadru by a colleague, and had been pleased by the level of service. Sadru and team were professional and quick to respond. They catered the itinerary to our budget, and made us feel extremely comfortable with the travel arrangements. Upon arrival, our Safari guide picked us up from the airport and escorted us on our first day in Nairobi. We visited two parks–Masai Mara and Serengeti, and both guides, John & Elly, were exceptional!! I cannot recommend them more. Our itinerary was purely for the Safari experience, so we didn’t add any treking to it. I later realized that our level of activity was quite sedentary–eat, sit and stand up. Next time, I would add a trek to our itinerary.

This safari company was recommended by other family members and we were not disappointed. Sadru and his staff are meticulous, attentive and very perceptive to their clients needs. We were 3 couples. 3 of us were somewhat reluctant participants to start with. By the end we were all naturalists and nature lovers. It was a flawless trip. Our guide was RAHIM. He has become my brother now! We had a flawless trip. Since we went in late January we went to Ndutu which was the highlight. Accommodations, food and the warmth of staff were wonderful. Rahim went over and beyond . He has a great eye and superb instinct. Of course we saw all the animals that one is expected to see. What was also great was the Birding with Rahim!. We saw around 80% of the birds listed in my bird book. Thanks to Sadru and Rahim

Since 1969 I have continuously visited East Africa. Last week I returned from my 28th safari which I enjoyed together with my son Robert. Like many of my safaris the last one, too, has been organized by Discover Safaris. The quality of their service is outstanding in every respect, and I can judge that!
It is this perfectly tuned interplay between a very professional and customer orientated office service on one side and devoted and well-educated driver guides on the other side. All arrangements were handled carefully, the itinerary made up to our individual requirements, and unobtrusive suggestions enriched the program. Once we left the airport in Nairobi we were pampered until we left the country again. This time we visited Mount Kenya, Samburu and Sweetwaters. Our driver guide Francis enabled great encounters with African wildlife and we came home with unforgettable impressions. I will always choose Discover, if I want to invest in good African memories. I will send you some of my new gorgeous photos for free use, they are the best proof of our wonderful experience.

Now that we’re back in Canada, I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our safari. From when I initially contacted you up until our departure date, you and Triza were so good at responding quickly to my e-mails and many questions, and didn’t seem fazed by our requests for changes to the itinerary. The safari itself more than exceeded our expectations, as we saw more wildlife than we could have imagined! Rahim, our driver, was extremely knowledgeable and amazed us all with his ability to spot animals while navigating along dirt roads or driving along the highway. He was also very patient with answering our many questions :-) The accommodations were all fantastic, as they were clean, well-appointed, and some had fabulous views. Finally, the food was amazing! I think we probably all gained weight on the safari, as not only was there plenty of food available for all meals, but it was delicious.
Thank you to you, Triza, and Rahim for helping to make our vacation in Tanzania such an amazing and memorable experience.

Discover Safaris was recommended to me by a friend who went on a Discover safari for his honeymoon. I just wanted say how much our group of 3 couples enjoyed our safari with Discover Tanzania. We saw all the animals and the food and lodgings were fantastic. We just returned to Canada after our wonderful trip Oct 10-16 to Tanzania. We had a wonderful time and wanted to give a special recommendation to our guide Rahim from Arusha. He was a great guide for our group and amazed us with his great knowledge of animals and the parks, and his big smile, kind heart and sense of humor. We can’t imagine a better guide and wanted to let you know how happy we are with the service he provided to us. Please pass on our sincere thanks to Rahim. We miss him, already!
